Kent have won the England Hockey Men’s County Championships for the first time in 19 years.

The squad beat Lincolnshire 7-2 in the final at Nottingham, having earlier beaten the UK Armed Forces 5-2 in the semi-final.

Kent lost to Lincolnshire 4-1 in the pool stage in May, but victories against Surrey and Sussex were enough to get them to the A Division Finals Day, finishing second in the pool on goal difference.
