NEW NEWS FOR THE 2011/2012 SEASON!
SAFEGUARDING AND PARTICIPANT WELFARE
All coaches and volunteers are advised to attend safeguarding courses. This is mandatory for all welfare officers operating at JDC’s and JAC’s.
Courses can be found here. http://www.kentsport.org/coaching_sporcoach_qual2.cfm
The KHA takes player safety seriously. All coaches are subject to certification from the EHB, a criminal bureau check, continual monitoring of standards and regularly offered retraining or update opportunities.
Each centre has an appointed welfare officer. Please ask the Centre manager who that is if you wish to speak regarding participant safety and welfare.
The county welfare officer is Lorraine Bant (See contacts page)
