The Kent County Committee were concerned to learn about the number of red cards awarded in matches so far this season. The County Disciplinary Officer reported that six had been investigated so far this season which is almost as many as were awarded for the whole of last season. The committe would like the support of all Club Chairmen in reminding their players about appropriate conduct both on and off the pitch. EHL clubs have also recently received a strong letter from England Hockey about abuse to umpires and we would encourage all players and coaches to remember to behave with respect towards them.
