I will dig out the rules and post them on this page for reference. There is a separate girls minis organised by the girls section not sure of the details but I will try to find out for you and let you know. There is also opportunity to umpire Southern Counties heats and finals. In general the competitions involving the “Boys” are stronger and more “gritty”, but the matches involving the “Girls” are no less competitive and the teams are very grateful to have Umpires at all. Last season 4 Surrey sides playing in the Surrey or London championships went on to be national schools winners (Kingston U18 girls, Royal GS Guildford U16 boys, Cranleigh U18 boys & Whitgift U14 Boys (Whitgift U18 boys having beaten Cranleigh in the south U18 final were U18 runner-up) Newer or less experienced Umpires coming into the Association should make the most of the opportunities these Competitions offer at a variety of levels, which afford the opportunity to practice and/or try out some different aspects of your Umpiring skills and techniques.
